I listen Still

Posting every little event can wear on you. I am trying to enjoy my
summer. I will post important events as I hear them, while it is nice
however let me slack a bit and enjoy life a bit or help we could have
shifts if there were some active volunteers.

pb -

I know you have gotten flack from some about not posting regularly - but I would only say that your posts are informative about some of the happenings (if 911 calls can be deemed happenings) in a vital, if troubled neighborhood. It is not a laundry list of every event that goes on across a scanner. I appreciate your work (and Lex's) when it appears.

A life (or a nice summer day) is a terrible thing to waste.

pb, get to work.

People have no right to expect postings, when you are doing it on your own accord, on your own time. It's funny how even though everyone knows it's just a nice thing you do, they get irritated when there is no update! Just tell them to buy their own scanner and listen!

If people really cared about having constant updates about crime in the area they should get off their asses and buy their own scanner!

PB has been awesome with the creation of this site and his dedication to Uptown. We should all feel lucky to have someone like this in our community.

Now let the man enjoy his summer and go out a buy yourself a scanner from Radio Shack.

Ok,

that seems like a fair use of your time. After all it is YOUR time.

However, in the event of any more reports of alien burial grounds at Cricket Hill or anywhere else in Uptown you OWE it to us to post that information.

Thank you and May God Save the American Republic!

Your time. Your website. Just don't count on traffic.

You don't have to act like a martyr. Do whatever you want to do.

I am amazed at how many people in this world are whiny little bitches :) I can understand complaining about crime, and oppression, and our elected officials who are more corrupt than a hard drive filed with porn, but to complain about a service that is free and asks for nothing in return is simply selfish, lazy, and ignorant.

We are living in a culture of ME ME ME, NOW NOW NOW, FREE!

This is the problem with technology and the web. People have become so complacent in getting, I mean demanding, something for nothing. I want, but I don't want to help. Instead I think I will go out of my way post how unhappy I am that people who are providing me with a free service aren't going out of their way to make me happy. The only way I will care is if someone else does the work.

Yeah, I watched Tears of the Sun last night.

Tears of the Sun is one of those truly awful movies that I still have managed to watch on DVD at least twice, because some of the cool battle scenes. But man is this a bad movie!!!
