Shots Fired

Three Hispanic males in a red two door car fired four shots into the
parking lot of JJ Peppers and fled west on Lawrence.

That's three shots fired incidents this summer at JJ Peppers. Do you think it makes sense to put a camera at that intersection?

This intersection has only gotten worse and will continue to until a camera goes up!!

Did they catch the guys? I'm wondering because there is a red two door car parked in front of my condo and for a good 1.5 hours the alarm kept going on and off.

you can call 911 and report the car as one that appears to be related to a shooting. they will investigate it. if you are wrong there is no harm. if you are right, it could be pretty helpful.

I just wanted to give you an update. I did call 911, gave them a description of the car, and a unit was dispatched. A ticket was placed on the car. I believe for the noise of the alarm.

YES!!! A camera needs to go there. Shiller is owed another one from the city. How can we get it??? Does Mary Ann Smith have both of hers? Maybe she would be willing to put one of hers there because her constituents use that strip mall and walk by there on the way to the el. HELP!

Sadly, the city is ONLY interested in those cameras
to catch cars going through red lights.

The city is more interested in getting parking and
car revenue, than solving crime issues
