19th District The Hot Spot Tonight

Been lots of reports of Hispanic gangbangers with guns.

Leavitt and Diversey

Hoyne and Clybourne

Leavitt and Clybourne.

Seem to be the hot-spots tonight.

Uptown is still quiet.

What good does it do having ridiculous neighborhood "meet and greets" when it is obvious that those with the guns will always be able to dominate a neighborhood? The only solution is for EVERYBODY to conceal and carry a handgun to stop gangbangers from seeing the rest of us as their unarmed prey.

ummm yes... let's all go on a wild shoot out. Everyone to CONCEAL?!?! I hope you can sense my sarcasm originally. "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

what rubbish..we need less guns not more on the streets..let the police control these people..

It's obvious that the police CANNOT control them. If everyone carried a gun, the gang members would fear approaching people on the street to rob them. When only the gangbangers have guns, they fear nobody.

Some of the emabarrassingly idiotic ideas I see on the comments sections of this and UU make me so sad...

Oh, you silly gun advocates. When will you ever learn?

The guns will never be off the streets. They will get them from someplace. Smuggle them in, build there own. And if by some miracle the guns are gone then they will start stabbing people. Will you then want to get rid of all steak knifes and box cutters?

There is absolutely no reason for a decent person to go north of Montrose anyway...there isn't one decent business up there. I don't even go to the Jungle Jewel on the south side of Montrose anymore because of all the foodstamp carrying baby mommas that go there.
