Update on Yesterdays Murder
Police are still looking for the gun used in the shooting, as well as the shooter. The gun was discarded and possibly could be on the roof of a building. Police requested fire department help last night for ladders to look on the roof of the school nearby. They also issued a caution to officers responding to a call at Hazel and Agatitie as the offender they are seeking in this homicide is known to frequent this corner.

DOES THIS MEAN THEY HAVE A SPECIFIC SUSPECT THEY ARE SEARCHING FOR?
As someone who saw this happen...and I am not the only one, I am OUTRAGED that CPD is now saying there are no suspects.
Myself along with many others told many CPD officers yesterday what the kids looked like.
So, was this guy affiliated with a gang or what? I wish family members would be honest so people can know and possibly learn from this death. I'm not saying someone deserves to die because they're in a gang, but knowing the reason behind the situation makes it easier to understand. Please write Jon Yates at the Chicago Tribune to see if we can get some news coverage of all the problems going on at this intersection/area. Also, do we know the ages of the people involved? If we could contact the high schools where some of these kids attend, maybe we could get some help.
Families may not know their kid is a 'banger, or he's told them he's out, but he's not.
